Sunland is a part of the Gensler team providing architectural and civil engineering design support, cost estimating, and construction administration services for the ABIA terminal/apron expansion and improvements project. During the preliminary design phase, Sunland provided architectural and civil engineering programming and facility assessment services including assisting with collection and analysis of existing documentation and verification of existing conditions. Additionally, Sunland provided project controls support during the preliminary design phase encompassing project sequencing, scheduling support, cost analysis, and budget development. During this phase, Sunland maintained project schedules and evaluated project costs to facilitate development of the overall project budget. For the design phase services, Sunland will provide architectural design services and civil engineering design services for the landside component during schematic design, design development, and contract documents. Additionally, Sunland will develop cost estimates during the design phases and develop the GMP with the CM@R. Also provide support for project sequencing, phasing strategies, and scheduling. Sunland’s services will continue into the GMP negotiations phase, as well as the construction administration phase, providing continued architectural and engineering support to respond to requests for information (RFIs), make site visits, and project close-out.
