This facility consists of a new office complex located in downtown Austin with one building on both sides of the new City Hall. The two buildings total approximately 466,000 square feet, including parking within each building for a total of 700,000 square feet. Sunland provided project budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and project management consulting services for the new campus facility. In addition, Sunland provided constructability review and other QA/QC services for the owner and design team.
Sunland Group established budget estimates for the new $150 million dollar office and retail center. A master schedule and budget was completed and presented to the CSC Board of Directors. Sunland was responsible for the selection and management of the design firm to ensure the project would be built within budget. This project involved extensive cost estimating, cost control, value engineering, and a thorough quality control program.
Upon completion of the project, Sunland performed an accelerated depreciation study for the owner to ensure the development of maximum depreciation schedules for the investment.
