Sunland was contracted by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) to act as Project Controls Consultant (PCC) for their Phase II Light Rail Transit Construction program. Phase II included all capital projects associated with the build-out of the Carrollton (Northwest Corridor) Line, the Pleasant Grove (Southwest Corridor) Line, the Irving Line, the Service and Inspection Facility and Yard Expansion, and a new LRT Operating and Maintenance facility.

Sunland planned, organized, and executed all Phase II Build-Out Value Engineering Studies as well as the Risk Assessment for this project. Sunland acted as an extension of DART’s staff providing estimating, budget and cost control services as our primary tasks.
