Sunland is providing project and construction management services for various infrastructure and facility projects at Denver International Airport (DEN) as a subconsultant for the following teams: DMJM (2004-2008), AECOM (2008-2012), Parsons Brinkerhoff (2013-2017), JA Watts (2017-Present), Faithful Gould (2017-Present), and AECOM (2017-Present). These projects involved design and construction management, construction inspection, engineering inspection, material and acceptance testing, and other support services as required on design and construction projects for the City and County of Denver’s Department of Aviation.

As an extension of DEN staff, Sunland provided construction managers, on-site quality control inspectors, project controls staff, estimators, schedulers, and contract administrators. One of the projects that Sunland has been intimately involved in is the construction of in-line explosive detection systems (EDS) baggage handling system. Sunland also provided scheduling, change estimating, system integration, coordination between airlines, the TSA, and other agencies, and systems testing for compliance with federal security requirements and contract specifications.
