Phase II Campus Additions and Renovations
Phase II Campus Additions and Renovations at Austin Community College included a new 45,000-sf education building, standing 3-stories with brick and metal panels. It contains seven new general-purpose classrooms, a new biology lab, and a 10,000-sf custom “ACCelerator” innovative computer lab/teaching center that houses up to 200 computers. Also included were faculty offices and other support spaces.
The renovations include upgrades to portions of existing Phase I buildings, expanding services to the Sonography and Nursing Simulation programs, revitalizing the student services area, and repurposing the existing computer learning lab. A new 300-space parking lot supports the increased student population.
