Short Game Golf Clubhouse and Event Space
Located on the Angelo State University (ASU) campus adjacent to the intramural fields, the short-game golf complex was divided into two design packages, the synthetic short-game golf course designed by a golf course designer, and the clubhouse designed by Sunland. Sunland’s architecture team coordinated with ASU and the golf course designer to work toward a cohesive design solution. The multi-use clubhouse will serve as a hub for the golf team, featuring driving bays, offices, seating, locker rooms, and event space. To enhance the facility’s functionality, an outdoor patio resembling a golf green, a covered porch, and quad-overhead doors extend the indoor event space outdoors.
