CapMetro is planning to implement a second track along its East Subdivision from East Timbes to the 7th Street underpass, connecting to the two-track segment at the west leg of Austin Junction. The project also includes adjustments to cross streets at Pedernales Street and Pleasant Valley Road as well as drainage, utility, and wayside signals/positive train control (PTC) efforts.
