CapMetro is proposing a Lakeline Station East Side Platform that will be an addition to the existing Lakeline MetroRail station, which is currently a single-side platform configuration to the west of the double tracks and serves the southbound direction. The proposed East platform serving the northbound direction will include a concrete side platform 280 linear feet and 16 feet wide, four site-specific canopies, utilities and electrical service, site drainage improvements, pedestrian crossings connecting the new East platform to the existing station/site, and a pedestrian plaza adjacent to the park & ride serving as a new southern entrance point.
