Systemwide Architecture, Urban Design, and Engineering – Research + Vision

Sunland developed a handbook that identifies the codes, regulations, and guidelines integral to designing Austin’s future light rail transit stations, urban environments surrounding those stations, ancillary buildings, and traction power substations. The document provides code summaries to help users understand the most important regulatory categories relating to the system design, and it lists the relevant codes, laws, guides, and ordinances applicable to the respective project elements. This document was developed in conjunction with ATP, HKS, Atelier Ten, Rios, and Studio Balcones.
