Terminal Redevelopment Program (ITRP) – Federal Inspection Services Building
This project was a major component of George Bush Intercontinental Airport’s (IAH) redevelopment program, which included the construction of the international terminal. The Federal Inspection Services (FIS) project consisted of the expansion, renovation, and reconfiguration of the existing FIS facility with improvements to the processing, baggage claim hall, meeter/greeter area, and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) administrative offices, among many other areas. The project included the demolition of the Terminal D/E parking structure and the construction of a new international terminal processor facility.
